shit i dunno y i can't study. keep getting distracted. so i shall blog.
for the whole of today, i was supposed to be studying smthing. so i took out my photonics notes(they were the top of the pile) and started reading them but i kept getting distracted. now is night alrdy, the end of the day. and guess where i've reached? the second page. i rock. shit.
erm can those ppl wif photos of mr cheong's hse frm that day his bday party pls upload some form of photos and do a writeup(train for your gp u know)? or at least somehow let us see the photos. thx. and i realised those who left early hav a personal photo wif mr cheong. the rest of us don't have =(
And there's going to be a lunar eclipse again soon. forgot when le. but sometime soon. Singapore can't see the total eclipse cuz wrong side of the earth, but can catch the partial eclipse. but partial eclipse not nice to see lah.
Oh and i saw a damn carnivorous or violent crow on friday. in rj. really an eye opening experience. qte a few other ppl saw it too. It was before chem focus test. i had arrived at lt6 early and left it to fill water. so came down to first floor, and lo and behold, i saw this crow flying at this grey bird. The crow is well, normal crow size, while the grey bird was about just slightly bigger than the size of a mynah, which is the black bird we often see in singapore. The grey bird didn't fly away in time, and the crow just stepped on it, like a tiger or jaguar claiming a kill or smthing like that. it stepped on the bird with its feet, and started pecking at the bird's head with its beak. just kept biting and pecking until the grey bird did not move anymore. It then got off the bird, and at that instance, the grey bird tried to make its escape. It had apparently been feinting death, but it was too seriously injured to fly away fast enough. It flapped its wings, but stayed there, and the crow jumped on it again, pecking at its head and neck repeatedly. it then got off when the grey bird stopped moving again. and the whole thing repeated itself again. for qte a few times. finally, the crow seemed to realise that there were qte a bit of ppl watching it, and grabbed the grey bird's head in its beak, and flew away with it in its beak, leaving behind qte a bit of grey feathers. I felt so sad for the grey bird. It probably died soon after =(, or mayb finally managed its escape =)
Anyway, throughout the whole thing, somehow smthing inside me just kept telling me not to interfere and chase the crow away. dunno y. and all the girls watching the whole thing were either screaming or gasping in horror, but no one did anything. oh well.
Ok moving on to a less gross and sad topic.
I feel abit accomplished for not much reason, simply because i managed to figure out a future pathway, when i previously hav given no thought at all to my future. it's not mapped out yet, but at least there's some form of path forming, joining on to the clearly paved route made by the raffles programme. anyway, yup, thought abt vocations in army and what scholarships i might try for(inspired by SAFOS tea session) and what uni i want to go to if i ever tried going overseas, though i'm very much inclined to stay in singapore.
Anyway, army vocations. i hav two choices. wanna be an armour officer. can humji like hell. hide in the tank. only scared of air attacks. but i think chin ee smarter. he want be signals and communications officer. hum even more than me. last to die one. haha. but then alternatively i can go join the joint intelligence unit. the guardian angel in times of peace, the silent warrior in times of war. wooh.
As for uni, i wanna go imperial college, if i get the chance to. else i go NUS. also not bad. haha. ok i think enuff rambling le. if u're not aslp by the time u reach here, u rock. yay.
