class outing: gerard's recount

wohoo now for my version of the recount! i dun really enjoy writing recounts actually. it's kinda tedious. and so many versions have been posted alr. so i shall skip e major parts of e day and talk bout e small things tt happened in between. let's see...on my way to city hall i got a really baaad tummy ache. i figured it's bcos i dint eat breakfast n my gastric was acting up again. i dun usually get it even tho i skip breakfast everyday, but tt's cos most of e days i spend e morning sitting in front of e comp, and tt doesnt use up much energy. but travelling does. erps. reached city hall and immediately went to e mrt station toilet. UNDER CLEANING!!! wth omgomg tt sucks. so i grit my teeth and wandered around raffles place looking for e nearest toilet.

ok so then txy came and we went to marina square lan. breakfast at ljs! koped my usual 2 extra straws and folded star #1 for e day. i think i'm getting more thick-skinned and at ease at just taking straws in plain sight. hehe. then we went to e lanshop and woke up e guy who was sleeping at e back. i think it's quite cool to be able to slp with so many computers. wohoo. quite surprised to find a $1.50 shop at such prime area. lanned till 1, then went to mrt to pick up e 2nd batch of pple. as we were walking there, we realised "y not just get them to come here! i'm sure we walk there then come back again. quite stupid" thankfully we dint go, cos everyone was late! pfft. except pin i think. kel xy ponned lunch and went to pool. we went foodcourt and had lunch from satay stall under lp's recommendation.

taught chinny how to fold stars! his star nicer than mine. i quite sad. realised tt ys' method is simpler and way less tedious. which is quite cool. but trish's one looks nicer haha. li shan folded stars in sec 2! she folded 365 stars and gave it to her mom. she can fold one under 1min! so cool. she's gonna go china and get me those special straws just for stars next year yayyy! oh and lishan was recounting tt time when she met chinny on e way to sch with a girl. and chinny panicked cos he doesnt rmbr such an incident! and he was like omgomg got meh?! no waddd i dun go to sch with girls! lol guilty conscience sia.

went to pool and played with chinny and ys and started the game by pocketing 3 balls in a row. quite happy, but then my skill went downhill from there, so i guess it was just tyco. ys owned us all, then owned himself by putting e black ball in e wrong pocket. way to go.

then we went to join e rest of them at bowling. kel bowl veri serious wan. then u watch him when he's about to bowl quite cool. he'll stand there with the ball in his hand and just stare at e pins for a looong while thinking/planning dunno wad, then he'll start taking purposeful steps, swing back e ball, stretch out his left arm to e left, then bend down really stylistically, sometimes falling over to e right. damn poser la! but looks pro. but i guess he tried too hard. haha oops. anyway, there's a really gd pic of his stance on ulutoot. i started off quite ok la, then later part of e game e ball always swerve to e left into e gutter. dunno y oso. *shrugs* wdv la, need more prac. i dun bowl much.

oh! then there was this one time kel wanted tissue. lishan moved to take out her tissue. then trish hurriedly grabbed her tissue from her bag and threw it to kel in a frenzy. THERE! take my tissue! MINE! miiiiiine! use it!!! haha woah competition la. relax yo, lishan got her other half alr =p

so while waiting for xy occ lz wing to finish their ardm dota game (they refused to just end e game! leaving the girls waiting outside e lanshop disgruntledly. not a really smart idea lol. might want to reconsider tt when u get a gf) e rest of us walked around with e girls. we browsed at a music shop, and i decided to stone and go lean on that wall, and i got myself a dirty black-stained shirt tt looks like i got run over by a bicycle. sigh >< way to go gerard. we had fun playing with resonance and echoes by proclaiming scandalous pairings in class to the powers above and receiving affirmations of reverb by voices up there. woo. but i maintain that those mysterious forces are quite stupid bcos they fell for some make-up pairings that are obviously not true. for one, it's clear that any acclamation with my name in it should not receive any echoes back. i'm so innocent after all (: but e folly that even ceilings have proved otherwise *shrugs* xP

went to giant to buy drinks cos ys was thirsty and refused to drink toilet water. gen bought sprite zero?! no fat no carbs oO who the hell would want to torture themselves by drinking THAT?! gosh. the aftertaste is wicked. yiting u're weird -.- ok so we finally all met up back at city hall mrt and proceeded to make our way to queenstown. kel and i were slow in going down to e platform cos we were trying to convince txy to come along. and what did being nice and friendly earn for us? staring at e rest of e class as the doors closed dramatically on us. wow, just great. but of cos kel got to do his dramatic-movie chase-train scene as he ran and kept up with their carriage all e way to e end of e station. trish! TRISH! noooo. dun leave meeee. *reaches out hand* triiishaaaaa.....and the train rolls off into the sunset. well, close enough. as much as a pitch-black tunnel resembles a sunset anyway.

from queenstown, we had to take 195 to gen's aunt's coolio thai restaurant. it took ages to come. but tt's ok, cos then lishan had time to devour her pregnant sour snacks. n ys had fun trying to play dominoes and push certain individuals in the direction of might i add, a really busy road where vehicles are driving past at a lethal speed? not a gd idea. oh, and while waiting i think three 145s came =D 145 goes to toa payoh. woo tp is so accessible. wherever i go, i find a bus tt brings me home. lalala.

so we finally got to our dinnerplace, which was thankfully uncrowded cos we were quite noisy heh, and we met gen's really friendly relatives. and we all had really gd food for a really cheap price. thx gen's aunt for e discounts! oo e curry n chilli was gd. i liked e tofu but there wasnt a lot of it heh. and this is e only kangkong i've eaten tt is niiice! i usually dun like e taste. e fish was well...tricky. i smartly decided to avoid making a fool of myself. jameson finally joined us after we finished our food. yay, at least u made it for e last bit. u shld have come for class outing from e start la! hello u were a co-organiser lor. i'm sure u pangseh e class for ur dad whom u meet everyday. and then it rained summore ahahaha. retribution. haii. yiting was so quiet and sad tt u werent there u know xP but o wells, at least u came. yayy. gjob zann.

hmm e dessert was great! but i guess pple were quite full alr. and imho e tapioca was quite dry, so abit hard to finish. then all e camera phones started coming out and voyeuristic tendencies started appearing. aiyo, shld have come out earlier la, take pics of all e great food on e table. ok so then we finally took our leave to return home. gen n yt took 14 to town for more girl-bonding. e prcs t ook 93 back to rj. e rest of us took 195 back to e mrt.

i decided to laugh at e rest and take my lovely 145 bus back home. yay. i can sit down and watch tv and doze a bit. zzz....20mins later...hmm still alien surroundings...zzz....40mins later....oo i'm still not back?....zzz....50mins later...WTH where am i la!....bugis...lavender...serangoon...kallang...omg wtf where is this bus bringing me to...arghhh 1h bus journey home i might as well have just taken e mrt la pfft. so much for my smug smirks at e rest for tp's accessibility.

ok, so i finally reached home, and i had my 2nd dinner waiting for me at home, which coincidentally also consisted of rice kangkong fish n tofu. my mom was alr asleep phew so she dint see my ruined shirt. did smth wrong n quite stupid which i really regretted on hindsight. haii. must be more firm next time. but nvm that. it was a really great class outing! i think it was quite successful for such a last-min plan. and we had more pple coming than usual! got nar pin and the prcs whoo. that's more like a class outing man! so glad u pple came down. thx everyone for coming. i'm sure it really made all of us happy. we shld have more class outings! but next time other pple organise k =p lol. yayy. 6N foreverr!
