Mirror Image?

With the release of DotA Allstars 6.63, a new load screen was introduced as well, artwork by Kunkka. For those who are as yet unaware, the tall, dark, intimidating dudes on horseback in the foreground (and in the background, too) are actually Chaos Knight and his images. Notice that one of them holds his weapon in his left hand, the other holds it in his right. Technical error or literally mirror images?
