NS too!
My brain has deteriorated like shit. let's start using broken english instead.
Me book in one day before sc. on the 9th. of jan. 2008. yup. Very fun at first. then start getting tiring. and boring. and sian.
ok f***. if i go on at that pace i seriously will not be able to string a proper sentence together by the time i POP. so let's practise good english!
Army has been fun. However, that is simply because we're new enlistees during the confinement period, when the sergeants are nicer to you. I expect life to get a hell lot tougher than this past 2 weeks when i book in.
Also, free time is really scarce, as shun cheng mentioned. The officers keep telling us it's not their choice, it's because they have very little time on their hands so they have to keep cramming in activities, unlike the people who book in 1 month earlier who get a one month headstart. lucky lz, rard and kel. I bet they have a lot of free administration time. For me, i get about 30 mins free time each night. Wash up my clothes, take a shower and it's lights out already. Sad.

It's been a hectic two weeks for me since i enlisted on 10 Jan. Totally...unique experience. Was, and still will be...for 1 year and 9.5 months. Regimentation is not much different from some uniformed groups in sec school, perhaps more strict. (But that may very well change after the first bookout) A 1yr 10month test of both physical and mental endurance. But certainly, I'm unsatisfied with how my brain is deteriorating. Just look at the quality of my posts.
NS is hectic. Hardly any free time for oneself, and hardly enough sleep. Frigging tired and sleepy a lot of the time. So today's early bookout (for me and 8 others in the company) rocks. =D haha damn suan. But waking up to run so early in the morning also allows us to see very nice stars and breathe in the fresh morning air.

okay 2 left..
sad.. left me and jameson (going in tmr,12th).. lolz.. ahh! okay.. jia you all the people in army! come back tell me stories so i can be prepared! muahaha..
lolz. ys said that the last 8 posts was his.. so i told him the next 16th posts would be mine.. so this is like the 2nd one.. haha.. anyway i think most of the army guys can't come out till like. er maybe 2 weeks later or 3.. so ya. wish you all dun tio guard duty on CNY.. very sian one. haha yup. dun think you all can see also..
well just a thought.. people who have go in now.. will have 2 CNY, 1 Christmas Day.. and 1 Valentine's Day inside army..
and um for me.. i have 1 CNY, 2 christmas and 2 valentine's day(1 if i'm lucky..) inside army. hmmm. well.. so ya.. good and bad..
lolz. and umm just realised people like us RP.. can't apply for relief teaching with our RP grades..cos moe dun recognise.. so ya. they want O levels or A levels.. well..
so yup finished attachment 2 days ago. wanted to blog about it..but lazy and tired.. job shadow the doctor.. he's like superman.. dun need to eat one.. have to on call like 1 out of 3 days.. sad man.. 730 to 730 is the normal working hours.. so one out of 3 days. you have to stay in hospital.. from 730pm till next day and start working again.. machine machine! i pity one doctor.. chritmas on call, new year on call, now CNY also on call. lolz.. people get 11 days of hol a year.. he get less than 4. lolz. one month supposed to have 8 weekends. they have like 2 or 3..hmm..
heh. and um the kopitiam food there not very nice. realised there was a staff canteen on the 2nd day there at basement.. but i couldn't find the lift to basement. so ya din get to eat there in the end..
umm but well i learned quite a bit. when to IV drip.. the concentration to use.. the ABCs (airways, breathing, communication) a procedure you have to check during emergencys. yea. fun! went to the wards.. follow doctors through their rounds( morning and afternoon), went to their clinics (neuro, cardiac, general, children development), and childrens emergency,and also went to look at new born babies.. learnt about jaundice.. umm did some hearing test on babaies.. and look at doctors perform checks on babies.. omg they twist the baby here and there.. like not theirs like dat.. haha XD okie well i'm exagerrating..
sometimes follow the house office and medical officer and registrar around.. they are like very very busy.. HO's lots of paper work.. very busy. heh. spent more time in hosipital than with family.. sad sad..
saw nikki and ruth( choir frens) there.. they doing some admin work thingy.. now no more le i think..
anyway, i saw lots of dif kinds of patients. renal patients.. asthma, cardiac! okay forgot the technical terms le.. well. the doctors memorise medicine names and all that la. and then all the dif types of scans.. and the dose that they have to give.. accurate man! zai!
okay. and i witnessed some hospital politics going on tooo.. staff nurses doctors and um the managers there. hahahah! i just stand there keep quiet..
heh. okay. well it was fun.. morning wake up.. drive to nuh. heh. tried dif dif routes. to beat the jam. and um beat the ERP which starts at 730 am.. lolz. there was this point on the expressway.. it was like 729.. then i got choice of CTE or PIE... but the PIE entrance was nearer.. so i decided to take the PIE cos the ERP charge is 5 dollars for CTE! zomg! ex ex! heh. so yea. i took PIE and when i passed CTE which was on the left.. i saw the "IN OPERATION". then i thought heng ar.. lucky nvr go that way..
okay if you din understand the previous para.. its okie. hahaha.. XD in conclusion i saved money. haha yeah.
so ya. okie. that's it for now..14 more posts to go! lolz. haha.. all the best army peeps.. dun over exert! really.. it takes 6 weeks to train strength and 4 weeks to train running.. according to some guy i met in the park while i was running. he was the man who initiated napha and IPPT lol.. at least that's what he said.. yeah.
yay! happy! ran 5k today! wohoo! gonna start training with you all! haha..

My first post of the new year, my last post before NS.
It's been quite long since I posted. Probably because I was busy playing away most of the holidays and destroying my brain before NS could do it to me. And between going to China for holiday, uni applications, and the 1 month of holidays, there isn't much. Does time just pass quickly.
Some of us (jameson, txy, jasper, ys & me) went for dinner together last nite at crystal jade. time really passes quite fast (or my brain is screwed up). Today, 3 pple are enlisting. I'll be going in tmr. That means I have one day to play 6.49c -.-" rofl take a look at the changelog.
I'm feeling rather apprehensive about NS, as I am with all uncertain things (physics?) But, there is no use worrying about it, so it's kinda at the back of my head now. I shall go play my first game of 6.49c.

okie.. after being mia for sooo long. ya. cos
1) i'm quite busy.. not working like you all.. which i think sometimes reading the encyclopedia/wikipedia is better worth the time.. hehe >.< but of course the experience is priceless (:
2) um i prefer reading to posting, and
3) i'm the only one who is willing and able to keep this blog alive when you all go army, so yup.. by conservation of energy, i need to conserve now to post more later.
4) driving takes alot of concentration and energy so by the time i reach home.. i'm too lazy and tired to post..
yeah. anyway so ya. just a little update.. i haven got any job.. still waiting for news in rj. to see if i can get any job.. going for nuh attachment tmr.. (7th to 9th Jan) jameson says its boring. so ya. hopefully mine better..

anyway, i just got a few photos which shld hav been sent to me last year but those ppl didn't send to me. but now that i've gotten it, i'm very happy! cuz they're very nice! yay! can go onto my wardrobe in NS le.

New Year countdown!
Whee! New year countdown was the most fun one in my life. suddenly u get to go out instead of sit and home and rush holiday homework.
so yup, went esplanade. or rather tried to. squeezed in there, then decided that it was too crowded and squeezed back out and went to marina square instead. played cards there, watched some pretty fireworks, then played more cards.
And then i went marie's hse! reached her house at 3 am. fun fun. played pool, kbox and mahjong. omg i just realised marie's hse kbox is updated every month. pro. And marie and gerald tay wants to go lanning too! yay, i probably get to play one more time before going NS.
left her hse at 11.20am, and went my relative's hse to eat and play bball. then wnet home after that and then went to work. wooh the best new year of my life. heck the working part though.

so i shall post bout my own stuff! whee!
anyway, we had RI NPCC gathering on 29 dec! so fun! Played soccer, drink bubble tea, talk kok and went lanning! wooh havn't played for how long le lah. our class all mia one.
I was very happy that day. havn't talked to some of the np ppl for qte some time liao(cuz they humanities one). and my soccer still rocks! playing wif npcc ppl have always been the times when i played my best football, and it was no exception this time. 3 goals and 3 assists in 40 mins. yay. havn't played so well since coming into RJC.
and i havn't drank bubble tea for so long too. lol. dunno y. and the np ppl can really talk alot of kok.
and i finally went LANNING! how long liao lah. a levels end alrdy nobody play. yup we played lots of CS and abit of dota. fun. cuz the np ppl are either damn pro or damn noob. so the pro ppl giv u a challenge while the noob ppl giv u kills. wooh.
then i went to work after the thing and tio food poisoning. damn it man.
so i shall post bout my own stuff! whee!
