Ms Tick – An extremely formidable teacher at the Academy of Magic, Ms Tick descends from the ancient and powerful wizarding family of Ticks, whose family motto is “Ticks Uun Eduirass”, which, when rougly translated, means “No One Crosses the Ticks”, based on the First Fundamental Law of the Universe that no one wants to fail. Efficient and brisk, Ms Tick exerts an almost unnatural control over apprentice mages at the Academy, exactly because she may even have done it without the aid of magic. Devoted to her profession, she has a certain tendency to regard everyone she deals with as children.
